4G: The MAGIC of Next Generation high speed mobile broadband?

4G is the new generation broadband mobile communications developed to succeed 2G and 3G. Talking of speed than the above illustration must have given you some idea about it, it’s going to be a 100 MB/s  ,faster than most of the fixed-line broadband connections these days.

So Why to name  these generations like 2G,3G,and now 4G.

So well the nomenclature of the generations refers to a change in the fundamental nature of the service, which is usually non-backwards compatible transmission technology, and new frequency bands. New generations have appeared about every decade or so  since the first 1981 analog (1G) to digital (2G) transmission in 1992,followed, in 2001, by 3G multi-media support, spread spectrum transmission and at least 200 kbit/s, in 2011 expected to be followed by 4G at 100MB/s
For customers point of view as such it’s just a marketing gimmick, intended to give you a feeling of high-speed then previous ones.

So how will 4G come into play i.e. core technology involved in it……

The core technologies employed by 4G may include OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), SDR (Software-Defined Radio) receivers, OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) UTMS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System), and MIMO (multiple input/multiple output technologies).,LTE. All these technologies will ensure high-speed data transmission.

What are the features that 4G has to offer …..

4G , also described as MAGIC ( Mobile multimedia, Anytime anywhere, Global mobility support, Integrated wireless solution), has got a plethora of features to offer us.
Some key feature are, high usability, anytime, anywhere, and with any technology, support for multimedia services at low transmission cost, integrated services
