Google rolls out +1 Button for Websites

Internet is all about sharing knowledge. With the advent of the Social Media, ‘knowledge sharing’ is seeing new innovations  each day. The latest in this trend is Google +1 button by the search engine giant Google itself.The +1 button is shorthand for “this is pretty cool” or “you should check this out.”
The +1 button was rolled out in March, giving users the ability to recommend content to your friends and contacts directly from Google search results and ads.In order to +1 things, you first need a public Google profile. Back there at Google researchers found that very often people tried to +1 a Page on internet and thus Google has recently rolled out +1 for websites.Now you can easily recommend a page from a website to your friend and your connections in your email account can easily find it in Google searches. This feature is quite similar to that of a Facebook ‘Like’ or Twitter ‘Tweet’. .You’ll also start to see +1 buttons on other Google properties such as Android Market, Blogger, Product Search and YouTube.
When a signed-in Google user is searching, your Google search result snippet may be annotated with the names of the user’s connections who’ve +1?d your page. If none of a user’s connections has +1?d your page, your snippet may display the aggregate number of +1?s your page has received.
