Motorola unveils Motoactv and Droid RAZR

Motorola has just announced new music player Motoactv and Android powered smartphone Droid Razr in company’s Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger. event held at New York city. Though a sequel to Xoom tablet was also expected.

Motoactv is a new music player and fitness device featuring 1.6” inch capacitive display and 600MHz processor inside. The best part is that its totally rugged, rain resistant, scratch and sweat proof which makes it totally Nike+ killer. The player can save upto 4000 songs with FM radio availability and comes in 8GB and 16GB variant. It also comes with automatic wireless syncing of workout data to MOTOACTV.com. You can also connect Motoactv with headphones (built-in heart rate monitors) Motorola SF700 (wireless) and Motorola SF500 (wired) and answer calls & receive messages via bluetooth. With Verizon, it will be available in United States first, from November 6, 2011 and is priced at $249 (8 GB) and $299 (16 GB). Meanwhile, Motorola SF700 and Motorola SF500 headphones will be available for $149 and $99 respectively.

DROID RAZR
Droid Razr is an Android powered smartphone running on 2.3.5 Gingerbread (Upgradable to ICS 4.0) with 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD display. Razr runs on 1.2 GHz dual core processor & 1 GB RAM . It also sports 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording. and surprisingly front HD camera. The phone comes with 16 GB on board memory and 16 GB microSD card pre-installed with 1780 mAh battery. Droid Razr will be available for pre-order through verizon starting from October 27 and starting November for other countries. The smartphone is priced at $299 with 2 years contract in US and there are no words on pricing for rest of the world.
