HTC Rezound to be Launched on November 14

Verizon has officially announced that HTC’s latest Android smartphone ‘HTC Rezound’ is going to be launched on November 14. It will be the first smartphone in the U.S. to feature Beats Audio technology and Beats headphone.

HTC Rezound sports a 4.3-inch 720p HD display screen with 1280×720 resolution and is powered by a fast 1.5 GHz S3 Qualcomm dual-core processor with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with HTC sense 3.5 UI and will be updated to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS in early 2012.
The phone features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well as a 8-megapixel rear camera with backlit imaging sensor and dual LED flash that enable you to take decent photos even in low light.
The specs seem to be highly impressive as well – Mobile Hotspot capability which allows you to share 4G connection with up to ten W-Fi enabled devices, light sensor, compass, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi. The phone comes with 16GB on-board storage as well as a pre-installed 16GB MicroSD card.
HTC Verizon will be available for purchase on November 14 at Verizon Wireless and Best Buy Mobile Stores for $299 with a two-year contract. With Galaxy Nexus and Droid Razr already lined up for launch in November, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against them.
