Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR to be Launched on November 10

Mobile carrier Verizon Wireless is all set for the release of the latest LTE-capable smartphone ‘Motorola Droid RAZR’ on November 10. Though Motorola Droid RAZR has been available for pre-order since October 27, the company had not confirmed exactly when the phone will be officially launched. It was only from a supposedly leaded document that the official launch date could be confirmed.

Let’s talk about the features of this gorgeous looking smartphone. As was expected about this latest entrant to the RAZR series, Motorola Droid RAZR is extremely thin – exactly 7.1mm, making it the World’s thinnest 4G LTE smartphone. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
The phone sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display and the kevlar reinforced body that provides a killer look to this smartphone comes with a water-repellent nano-coating to protect against water spills.

The other features include a 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel camera for video calling, integrated GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. It comes with 16GB internal storage and a pre-installed 16GB MicroSD card (though the microSD slot supports cards up to 32GB).
Though the smartphone will cost $299 on a two year contract, you can grab it for $649 if you don’t want to be tied down to the contract.
